Classroom Training and Test Dates

Please remember the first step is to take and pass the Section A exam on the Alabama Department of Public Health’s Rules and Regulations for Assisted Living Facilities (ALF) or Specialty Care Assisted Living Facilities (SCALF), and then you will attend a 3-day Classroom Training program and take the Section B exam.

If you are applying for a Category II license, you must register to attend the 8-hour dementia training prior to taking Section A of the Category II examination.

Please make sure the Licensure Application has been completed and submitted before registering for the below classes.

At the current time, testing and training will take place in Montgomery. You will be notified by mail of the exact time and location of your testing and training.
